    Australia has one of the highest skin cancer rates in the world, yet most Aussies don't think twice about sun exposure while driving.

    The truth is every time you drive, radiation passes through the glass, harming your skin — silently, constantly. No alarms. No warning signs. Until it's too late.

    At mycar, we're dedicated to putting people first, so we wanted a way to highlight the real damage happening to your skin when you drive under the Aussie sun.

    The Sunburnt Car is a first-of-its-kind experiment: a car reupholstered with a synthetic material that will react to UV exposure in the same way as skin, highlighting that sun damage is a threat even when driving.
